The guilds goal is to plan program activities for each of the monthly general meetings. The program will take place after the general meeting, show-n-tell and the 20 minute hospitality break. The program can consist of mini demos, speakers, trunk shows, do you have any suggestions? Let us know.
Langley Guild also offers Between Workshops that take place between the afternoon meeting and ends before the evening meeting. These are great little workshops to learn everything from embroidery stitches to embellish your quilt or learn how to turn a sweat shirt into an eye catching quilted jacket. Longer workshops are also arranged that take place on a weekend or other evening. A fee is charged to cover expenses such as venue and teacher costs.
