What's a journal quilt?  A journal quilt is a small quilt that you make to document an event in your life, an emotion that you are feeling, a time of year, something you would like to remember, a new technique or maybe a series exploring something of your choice.

The goal is to make a journal quilt for each month and to write a small paragraph explaining the quilt, your feelings and/or the technique used.  The paragraph can be brief, just as an entry in a journal might be.  The field is wide open and the choice is yours for each of your quilts.

The goal in doing the journal quilts is to challenge our creativity and to have a display of our talents at the November 2008 meeting.

If you are interested in making the journal quilts please commit to having a minimum of 5 quilts to display.
