Just after Xmas my friend was entering a local supermarket, it was cold wet and damp. Outside was a little girl called Emma with her mom selling calendars to raise money for the Cancer and Blood Disorder Clinic at Children’s Hospital. She stopped and talked to them and Emma explained how children had painted pictures and they had been made into the Kourageous Kids Calendar. My friend bought some and then gave me this lovely gift. After looking thru it I was touched and decided to make a quilt using a picture as inspiration. Then I thought it would be nice to ask my fellow Guild Members to join me in fulfilling this challenge.
If you would like to make a quilt, or wall hanging based on a picture please email: lqgmember@hotmail.com and I will send you back a larger picture with all the details and a little note that each child put with their picture.

The quilt or hanging can be no bigger than a standard width of fabric (saves having to piece the backing) but would prefer no smaller that 36” x 36” for the lap quilt and 25” x 25” for a wall hanging.
I would like to present these quilts on one of the following dates if possible.
