The
idea is to dig thru your stash for
fabrics that another member is
collecting.
1.
Decide what you would like to collect
- for instance fabrics in blue and
teal, or for an "I spy",
or batiks etc.
2.
Tell someone on the charm square
committee either in person or email diannesenra@shaw.ca
3.
Check your Guild email before the
meeting to see what others are
collecting.
4.
Dig thru your stash and see if you
have something that someone else
wants.
5.
Put your name and what you are
collecting on a bag and deliver it
to the charm square table along
with your fabrics for others
.
6.
Collect your bag at the end of the
meeting with lots of "new to
you" fabrics.
Fabrics
must be 100% cotton, at LEAST 6"
x 6".
VERY
IMPORTANT - you don't have to be a
collector. You can dig thru your
stash and just bring fabric for others
- no obligation.
Also
check the side table for individual
Charm Squares!
- put in a 7" square
of fabric that has been pre-washed and is something that you would like to
receive
- take out a charm square
of fabric that you wish to have in your collection
- maybe that illusive piece
of fabric that you have been looking for shows up in the charm square
basket!
