Louise McTague - Pres 2008-09

Langley Quilters Guild members are saddened to hear of the loss of one of our members, Louise McTague.

Louise was President of the Guild in 2007 2008, and then moved with her husband to Blind Bay, BC, shortly afterwards.

Teaching quilting was so natural to her with her unlimited knowledge of techniques and patterns, and she was so willing to share it all.

She loved longarming and continued to quilt many community quilts for our guild even though living in Blind Bay.

We wish to express our sincerest condolences to her husband, Dave Hyland, and to all of her family. She will always remain in our memories.

LQG has been making blocks for the CQA Block Challenge. Many blocks have been submitted and are now becoming Quilt Tops.

To see more work by our members, be sure to check out the Gallery page.
